This Saturday 8th September 2018 PWDR MNKY crew will be playing a live set at the brand spanking new High Viz Festival based at the Custard Factory, Birmingham.
This will be our only show this month and bids our return to the Birmingham scene since our sell out show in April.
The festival celebrates all things street culture and also features many other great musical line ups as well as the likes of Lady Sanity, Percy Filth & Red Beard. Many other artists and curiosities will also be featured for your entertainment and visual feasting. – STARTS 11AM TILL 9PM – FREE ENTRY
Vegan catering onsite. Free Camping from Friday. This is meat and dairy free festival, please respect these principles.
£25 Kids are FREE (under 16) Pay on the gate atm watch this space.
Sorry no dogs allowed due to there being free range animals onsite (guide dogs exempt)
Directions to the sanctuary
By Train
There are regular trains from London from Charing Cross on Southeastern Trains. Take the train from either Charing Cross or London Bridge (usually platform 5 from London Bridge) towards Ramsgate and get off at Paddock Wood. The journey on the train from London is approximately 50 minutes and is approximately £24 for an open return. For more details and journey planning please see www.southeasternrailway.co.uk
Buses from Paddock Wood
It is only a short bus journey from Paddock Wood, and will take approximately 20 minutes to reach F.R.I.E.N.D. The bus to catch is the number 6 and 6a. The 6/6a can be caught from Whites Corner at the end of the street from Paddock Wood station. The stop to get off the bus is at the church on the corner of Pound Road and Church Lane. It is then a short walk to the sanctuary (see map). There’s a PDF of the number 6 timetable here
Taxi from Paddock Wood
There is also a taxi service from Paddock Wood Station. The taxi company is Streamline, and they can be called on 01892 83 83 83. The taxi fair will be approximately £11 to the sanctuary and will take about 15 minutes. On arriving off the train, cross over the footbridge and the taxi rank is on the left hand side. The address for the sanctuary is 89 Bush Road, East Peckham, TN125LJ. For further details please see www.streamline.travel

You can drive from London to the sanctuary using the M25 and A20. Please see map notes and directions in this link
Walking from Paddock Wood Station
The walk from the station takes between an hour and an hour and a half.

Just incase your head has been thoroughly buried in the sand….you probably haven’t noticed that i have been recently nudging, pushing and finally catapulting my new project called PWDR MNKY into peoples faces…
I must admit i was very happy with the overall launch of my new live band…in both Newport (Wales) & Birmingham (West Mid). Each time the collective of musicians involved put that extra effort in and launched our new sound with style….praise be to one and all!! haha
Was also great to see such a show of support from our Birmingham friends and revellers….an actual full capacity show in Brum!! ha aint done that for awhile i tell thee….anyhow all appreciated…. (continued below)

Soooooooooo for the next few months the band are now either in the studio recording our first set of releases or jamming new ideas in a sweat box somewhere…..heres some clips of us doing our thing for those of you who are interested ha! We are looking to bring you some singles around the end of July onwards if not sooner. With a view to bringing out an album at some point next year.
